Snow Pretty!

This is what greeted us on Friday. Needless to say we were snowed in. It had been fairly bad on Tuesday but this was the worst.

And you can see from the sky that there was more on the way.

The photos to the left is from the kitchen door looking up the lane. The photo above is from the upstairs landing window, looking out to sea. Believe it or not you can see the sea behind that line of trees! And they say it's on its way back. In fact I have just been told that it had started snowing again (7.45pm).
I have to say I'm getting quite used to this hibernating thing. I can quite see why hedgehogs go in for it. Maybe I was a hedgehog in a previous life.
Chapters 9 & 10 of MG are on WNR. Thank you for all your lovely comments about it.

I would LOVE to hibernate. Sadly, I have to go out again in it tomorrow. Sigh.

I adore your home. I can totally understand why you left the rat race. I must send you a link to my sea view, from upstairs too, here in Estepona (Malaga). There are lots of pros. and cons for living where we do, but the clean air sure feels good and I often count my blessings in that department.

Snow in Cornwall - the kids (& okay me too) have really enjoyed our brief flirtation with the white stuff.

We get so little down here that when we do it is exciting. Although probably not exciting for people who have to make long journeys. I of course don't get out in the snow on account of my balance being pants without slippiness underfoot. BUT I got to stand by the door taking photos and keeping warm by the glow of my kids happy faces! (wow that sounded very corny - but who cares, its true)(well okay its only partially true because in reality I was rather icy numb)

Hope Jamie's ear is getting better.

Kat :-)

Hibernation sounds perfect - as long as I could get out to the pub every once in a while...

What a lovely place you live in, and so pretty in the snow too. We just had ice for one morning! Pathetic.

I felt all jealious when I saw your snow pics and then I made the mistake of looking at your sidebar where the sight of your study left me sick with envy! However, I felt much better when I saw a pic of my book cover...thank you for reading it and I do so hope you enjoy it. xo

Hibernation over for now. Snow left us Sunday afternoon. It was nice while it lasted.

I'm sorry I've made so many of you envious of my views. If it mskes it any better the thatched cottage isn't ours, it's across the road, we see it from the kitchen. The outside of ours is still a little like a building site.
